Members of Laughter Association UK work to the highest standards and many travel all over the country to facilitate workshops and training.
Active members of Laughter Association UK, i.e. Laughter Professionals who practice and run either Laughter Clubs, workshops, training and other events, have appropriate training as well as hold professional liability and indemnity insurance allowing them to practice their laughter skills.
In 2002 my life changed when I met Dr Kataria and become a Laughter Yoga Leader Trainer. I was awarded Laughter Ambassador status in 2006 and and became a Laughter Yoga Teacher in 2009. I bring a sense of fun and lightness to my work, encouraging a better understanding of the mind/body relationship, which can be very empowering. Both laughter and yoga are complimentary to good health, developing a positive approach to life, and my work is a fusion of this. I want to help people live the best life they can.
I have been influenced by Positive Psychologist Robert Holden and in 2004 trained on his Happiness Course and trained with David Hamilton author of “How your mind can heal your body”
I have taken laughter into the whole of society from class rooms to board rooms, from hospitals to health resorts and have been featured on many TV, media and radio programmes. For many years, staff at Gt Ormond Street Hospital have benefited from my laughter yoga sessions and Stressless Living courses and I am a regular Guest Presenter at Champneys Health Resort at Forest Mere.
I love to laugh and help people Lighten up with Laughter!
