Biographical Info
I’ve been dedicated to laughter yoga ever since it led me out of a very dark place in 2014. I can honestly say that laughter yoga has transformed my life, physically and mentally – I am so grateful for the day when I discovered this amazing simple tool for improved health and wellbeing. I’m now passionate about introducing others to the wonderful benefits it can bring to their own lives.
I provide fun laughter sessions for health, support, social and retirement groups; schools and nursing homes; charities; public wellbeing and awareness days; private parties; staff training days; and business conferences – as well as running a regular laughter club in Worthing. I’ve participated in ITV coverage of laughter yoga by the “Lorraine” breakfast show which aired in November 2015.
In my sessions we intersperse laughter exercises with some simple, undemanding fun games to unleash our inner six-year-old, as well as clapping and chanting, breathing, singing, and some mindfulness or relaxation.
“We were absolutely delighted with the laughter session Lesley ran at Lancing Library recently. All of the participants were made to feel relaxed and welcomed and within minutes were laughing with each other as though they had known each other for years – what a fantastic way to exercise the mind and body! Through simple action techniques, we learnt the true value of laughter and the impact it has on our positive mental wellbeing. Thank you Lesley for a truly uplifting experience.”
